SPI holds The Investigators' Forum in Psychology Today

In October, SPI was approached by Psychology Today magazine to create a blog on their web site titled The Investigators Forum and our organization accepted heartedly! The purpose of this blog is to provide insights on investigations-related topics in the news and to debunk some of the myths about investigators and their work.

The first two articles were authored by SPI president and hospital investigator Bruce Sackman, on the topic of whistleblowers: "Whisleblowers: Who are they? What Do They Want?" followed by a column on "Supicious Deaths At Our Veterans Hospitals." SPI secretary Emmanuelle Welch, a private investigator in Brooklyn, penned the third article: "When an Online Romance Scam Gets Too Thrilling". Our latest column is by Gil Alba, Retired NYPD 1st Grade Detective, who recounts a great story for the holidays: "When Your Mom Melts Your Macho Image. More exciting topics to come. We're receiving great feedback and appreciate this opportunity to share insights gleaned from our professional experience. Authorship is open to SPI members only, who should send their submission to Bruce Sackman.
